Valentines day will soon be upon us and in the spirit of things, we had a quick office poll of all the apps we love! See below for a selection of apps, some useful, some silly and some we’re sure you’ll love too. (Don’t forget to click on the logo’s to download them and try for yourself!)
Threes
Three’s is ‘a tiny puzzle that grows on you’. Winner of Apple’s editorial pick for the best iPhone game of 2014, this fantastically designed and ferociously addictive little app is perfect for entertaining and teaching your mind during coffee breaks
Two Dots
Carrying on the puzzle theme, we also love Two Dots. TwoDots follows on the success of the wildly popular and Webby Award winning Dots game, which launched last year to over 20 million downloads. TwoDots takes players on an adventure with two characters, Amelia and Jacques, as they navigate their way through a complex world increasing in difficulty across 85 levels
Podcast Addict
With Podcast Addict you can manage all your audio & video Podcasts as well as your YouTube channels and RSS News feeds from your device and subscribe to your favourite podcasts using the embedded networks. You can also import your podcasts subscriptions from an iTunes – which makes Podcast addict an app we’re in love with!
Ping
Ping is the app we love to help you find the apps you love! (and much more.) Ping keeps you updated with content, funnies, movie reviews, snippets of news and anything else it thinks you’ll enjoy according to your preferences.
Yahoo Weather
The Yahoo! Weather app top trumps the other weather apps out there and makes our list because of it’s super slick interface and pretty graphics. It’s integration with Flickr means you’re treated to a beautiful picture with weather appropriate animations each time you check. It occasionally get’s the weather predictions right too…
Bristol 24/7
Yes we may be slightly biased about this one because we made it, but it still makes the list! The Bristol 24/7 is full of great info about nights out, what’s going on and where to eat in Bristol. This is one we all use on a daily basis and we love it as consumers as well as creators!
The National Trust
Out and about of a weekend, we love the National Trust app to let us know about some potential sites of interest that may be near by. Particularly handy if you’re on the road a lot, this app knows where you are and suggests some place you might like to visit which really helps you get the most out of your membership.
One Password
It is what is says on the tin. One password is an app you can download onto your desktop/phone etc. that will generate, remember and securely store your passwords for any website log in. It will also remember webpages and fill out your log ins automatically. All you have to remember is one STRONG password in order to get into it. (Just don’t forget it!!)
