Over the previous months, two of our apps have won awards for innovation in digital education and outreach. The National Trust’s Soho Stories and Dr. Charlotte Crofts’ Curzon Memories.
Soho Stories won Gold at the the ‘Digital Impact Awards’ 2012
The National Trust won Gold for the “Best use of digital by an NGO, NFP or charity” in October 2012. The Digital Impact Awards commended the project for reaching out beyond their traditional audience base and into the 18 – 35 inner-city markets.
“…the initiative was exposed to an estimated total of 400 million people.”
We’re proud to be the technical driving force behind the app, and to have worked with the National Trust on the project.

Curzon Memories won a ‘Learning on Screen Award’ 2013
Dr. Charlotte Crofts of UWE, Bristol recently won the General Education Multimedia Award at the Learning on Screen Awards 2013. We worked with Dr. Crofts to develop the app, which allows you to explore the history of Curzon Cinema in Cleavedon – both outside the cinema using GPS, and inside with QR codes placed throughout the interior.
The Curzon Cinema were delighted to have a new way to teach people about the history and character of their building, and have a permanent, invisible exhibition for people to explore whenever they liked – by simply using their own phones.
