Arts Council England, Arts Council of Ireland, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Arts Council of Wales, and Creative Scotland have commissioned Calvium to deliver the Digital Membership System for ‘All In’ – their pioneering accessibility scheme for creativity and culture.

All In seeks to eliminate barriers faced by D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people when booking and attending creative and cultural events. Calvium will lead the design and development of its secure and easy-to-use digital membership platform, that will underpin the seamless booking experience for participating theatres, galleries, museums, libraries and other creative venues.

As part of our commitment to All In, Calvium is also delivering an inspiring Social Value programme to enhance digital inclusion and reduce the disability employment gap. We have created a bespoke Mentored Training Programme and already embarked on our journey as a member of the UK government’s Disability Confident employer scheme. We want to challenge attitudes, enhance skills and increase understanding of disability.Disability Confident Committed logo

Social Value: Mentored Training Programme

The Mentored Training Programme aims to offer D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent participants valuable experience and employment opportunities in high-demand areas within the digital sector. It has been designed for people to participate flexibly and in ways that enhance skills and advance career prospects. This programme leverages the Calvium team’s extensive expertise and proven track record in delivering impactful collaboration and training.

Social Value: Disability Confident employer scheme

Calvium is serious about equal opportunities for disabled people. Within the company, we employ people who have become disabled during their working life, as well as colleagues who were born with their disability. However, despite supporting people to fulfil their potential, we had not taken steps to gain formal related accreditation. As such, inspired by All In, Calvium has now joined the Disability Confident employer scheme and we aim to achieve its three levels!

Calvium is committed to sharing updates on our fantastic Social Value activities throughout the course of this All In commission. By engaging with and learning from others, we aim to foster an open dialogue on best practices and collaborative approaches for increasing accessibility. We look forward to contributing to the wider conversation and gaining valuable insights from our arts and culture industry peers.
