Realising the value tied up in your unwanted textbooks just got a whole lot easier. Fatbrain, the online retailer specialising in buying and reselling student textbooks, launched an innovative new app in May this year with the help of Calvium. This innovative book buyback app enables smartphone users to turn their books into cash with a scan and a tap.
The Fatbrain app, available free to download on iOS and Android, allows the user to scan any book with a barcode, build their own virtual bookshelf and get an instant valuation. Users can then select which books they’d like to sell, choose their preferred delivery option and receive payment via PayPal or Cheque.

- Get notified of special deals and when valuations change
