If you’re near Cardiff next month (or simply fancy a trip to Wales), come and join us at Porth Teigr in Cardiff Bay on Tuesday, September 19th where we’ll be hosting Ideascape. This free, outdoor promenade event comes following a 6 month research project exploring ways of addressing local need and ideas using technology.

Play with a series of interactive examples that have been developed to illustrate our ideas; download the audio trail app and be treated to a reimagining of the history of the Lock Keeper’s Cottage, peer through augmented reality binoculars to see the future of Porth Teigr and meet our prototype ‘Digital Town Crier’. Most importantly, share your ideas on how we might shape Porth Teigr’s digital+physical future.  

Physical spaces can no longer be separated from their digital dimensions – cities have become hybrid spaces – and in Porth Teigr we’re exploring how technology can help foster a place where people want to live, work and play.
